Technical Architect AI & Analytics

What's your job?

As our Technical Architect for AI and Analytics, you'll be the visionary behind our data-driven future. You'll investigate new opportunities, advise project teams, and influence key stakeholders to align our AI and Analytics landscape with Tata Steel's strategic direction.

In this role, you will:

• Develop technology roadmaps that will guide our AI and Analytics initiatives for years to come.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business leaders, to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.
• Optimize our data architecture and deliver reusable services that enhance efficiency across the organization.
• Make crucial decisions about system design, platform selection, and data management to optimize our overall IT performance.
• Implement machine learning models to predict trends, optimize operations, and improve experiences throughout our steel-making processes.

Is this you?

You're not just technically proficient; you're a visionary who can translate complex AI concepts into real-world solutions. You have:

• A Master's or Ph.D. in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing AI models and algorithms.
• Expertise in AI concepts, frameworks, and NLP techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, Java, and Jupyter.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SAP S/4HANA, and data visualization tools.
• The ability to communicate complex information to senior management effectively.
• A strong preference for professional-level Dutch language skills.

• A salary between € 4.229,83 and € 8.204,50 gross per month, depending on your experience.

You'll be part of the Technical Architecture team within the Enterprise Architecture & Digital Technology Platforms department. Here, you'll work alongside specialists in various technical domains, all contributing to Tata Steel's secure, sustainable, and agile technical landscape.

Your department
The IT department at Tata Steel in IJmuiden supports business processes by managing the IT infrastructure, networks, and applications such as ERP systems. They are responsible for cybersecurity, protecting company data, and resolving technical issues for employees. Additionally, we are working on the transition to a data-driven production environment through data analysis, process optimization, and the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and IoT. The focus is on both daily operational support and long-term digitalization strategies.
